I kind of want to write an Avengers/Brooklyn 99 crossover mostly because I want to write a fic where Steve gets himself arrested repeatedly for unapologetic vigilantism and general shenanigans and the staff takes bets on which Avenger shows up to exasperatedly scold him (Tony is generally the favorite because he always brings lunch with him, but watching Bucky call Captain America a fucking asshole holds a special place in Peralta’s heart.) No one ever wants Pepper Potts to come because they’re pretty sure she’s judging them (they’re right).

DOOOOO IIIIIIIT

Imagine Holt and Bucky in a stare-off. We enter the action to see them already staring at each other silently, and it lasts long enough for everyone in the precinct to notice and for Peralta to speculate about what’s going on before Holt says “good talk” and Bucky says “thanks, you’ve given me a lot to think about” and takes himself off to bail Steve out.

I NEED THIS!

Also Rosa and Nat comparing the best ballet techniques they’ve incorporated into their villain/perp takedown routines.

Charles sending Steve and Bucky new food places to try that’ve popped up in Brooklyn since they’ve been gone.

Terry receiving Asgardian toys from Thor for Cagney and Lacey to play with after an offhanded comment Terry made at the gym about toys now not being challenging enough for his girls.

Tony and Jake talking about their shitty dads and coming up with jokes while Tony suggests he should put together the next Tactical Village scenario.

Pepper occasionally coming by and commiserating with Amy about their workloads and taking her out for a standing coffee date every month.

Holt is Rhodey’s uncle, just go with me on this one. It’s brilliant.
“Your nephew is frickin’ WAR MACHINE?!”
“Yes, Peralta, my nephew, Jimmy, is War Machine.”
“You call THE War Machine ‘JIMMY’?!”
“Peralta!”
“Thanks a lot, Uncle RayRay, I’ll never live this one down.”
*Jake is unable to process ‘Uncle RayRay’ and needs to sit down while soft screams come out of his mouth*

Sam and Bruce get along surprisingly well with Gina- it’s the sarcasm.
