I sat next to Carrie Fisher at an event in 2008. She was the keynote speaker and before she took the stage she turned to me and asked if she had lipstick on her teeth. Without waiting for an answer she said “eh, who gives a fuck” and winked at me. It was the best keynote address I’ve ever heard.

all i can think about right now is a 24 year old girl lost her mother and grandmother within 36 hours of each other and the last thing that she deserves is to be hounded by press about it
